WEATHER UPDATE: Tropical cyclone “Uwan” (international name: Fung-wong) entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Friday evening, Nov. 7, after intensifying into a typhoon over the Philippine Sea, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
