Some of you have been asking how I prevent the books from yellowing/browning in this sg humidity so here’s how! I get the charcoal dehumidifier from Watsons (cheapest imo esp if you buy in bulk) silica gel packs from Shopee! Each shelf of mine stores up to 40 books and I’ll put 1 dehumidifier and 2 silica gel packs between the stacks. Usually, I’d have to switch out the dehumidifier every 1.5 months. Also, I store the books away from sunlight—overexposure of UV causes the books to brown quickly.
